Center of anterior aspect of thigh on lateral edge of Quadriceps femoria muscle; 6 cun above upper edge of patella on line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and lateral border of patella.
1-1.5 cun perpendicular

Insertion point for ST and GB TM meridians.
Influential point for veins and arteries of leg.
Disperses local wind and dampness.
