Location and Needling:

With arm abducted, directly above SI-9 in depression inferior & lateral to scapular spine.
1-1.5 cun perpendicular

Contraindications and Cautions


Functions

Small Intestine,

Accessory Shu-Stream point for shoulder and upper arm. Reunion point with Yang Wei Mai and Yang Qiao Mai.

Strong effect on clearing the shoulder, moves meridian.
Reduces phlegm nodules (scrofula)
