In the interosseous space between the 1st and 2nd metatarsals, 2 cun proximal to the web, in the most distal depression of the space.
0.5-1.5 cun toward KD 1

Contraindications and Cautions


Functions

Liver,
Shu-Stream point, Earth point on Wood meridian.

Yuan Source point, receives Lo vessel from GB-37.
Spirit of Point: Smooths movement of energy on all levels and in all elements. Holds energy and vision for a new beginning, new possibilities, projects and manifestations. Powerful in resolving stagnation and easing frustration and anger.
Promotes the smooth flow of LV Qi and Blood (strongest for this), regulates menstruation
Subdues LV yang and extinguishes wind, clears the head and eyes
Nourishes Qi and Blood of LV
Regulates the LJ and discharges damp heat
Strengthens the curious meridian Chong Mai.
