Dispels wind heat, internal or external, Cools the LUs, cools wind of the throat. Master point for throat.
Resuscitation point. Helps revive from fainting, dispels sudden attacks of Wind in the head (associated with convulsions or strokes). Refreshes brain and stimulates mental activity.
Induces sweat in a person who can't sweat, brings fluid to dry skin
